Trygve Faste is an artist, designer and writer living in Eugene Oregon. His studio practice engages the connection between human creation and the natural environment through a wide variety of media and modes of exploration. He enjoys being immersed in the creative process of drawing, building, and painting to generate meaningful artwork and solve challenging problems.
Recently Trygve has applied his many years of professional art/design experience towards writing and illustrating graphic novel adventures in which seemingly insurmountable challenges are solved by skill, wit and the power of creative thinking.
When he’s not in the studio or classroom, you will probably find him on a boat. Trygve is an Associate Professor in the Department of Product Design at the University of Oregon.
